Getting use to the recycling system around here has taken me some time. With the 3
different garbage cans and what can go in each. What you have to clean before you throw it away and so on . . . lots of details! I shared the list here, that the waste processing people give us with all the do’s and don’ts. Problem for us is we only have 1 trash can and we technically needed 3 to sort it all out. So with no way to differentiate in the house I was constantly going outside or piling it up on the counters, gross! So here was my solution! Recycling garbage cans cost $$$ and I didn’t want to spend that much on a trash can so I found this bin at Ikea and bought 2 of em. Then using my circut I cut the recycling symbols out in their corresponding colors and Wa-La! Now we can easily sort what goes where without having to do all the legwork!
