This weekend went by in a flash, full of all the little life moments that my blog is really meant to be about. Nothing really huge or of monumental discovery is typically posted here, just My Mr, the pup and me. When I sat down to post I thought, “you know what I didn’t take any photos.” None of us weeding the beds . . . again. Or My Mr edging the yard by hand (thanks for the lovely tool our sweet older neighbors lent us.) A photo of Pax playing with a lost dog who we now know lives us the street and apparently has a huge whole in the fence at his house. We were glad to find his owner and return him home! No photos of the evening spent with friends, talking and having treats. Or snuggling down to watch the newly released Sherlock Holmes movie, yes I still like it!
There are times in my life that I don’t want to be behind the lens capturing the moment; I want to be living in it. That’s not saying that I don’t love taking photos but there are times when I think “Oh I should be shooting this.” And I have to remind myself “Nope I’m living this memory, not recording it.” So that’s where I was at this weekend, just living in the little life moments that make up our everything.
I will share the funny quote I found on pinterest with you though. This brought me to tears of laughter, I couldn’t even read it to My Mr because I kept laughing! Sad, but so true!

I saw that on Pinterest too and I love it. My brain likes to think of serial killers when Eric isn’t home and it’s dark. So logical. I’m glad you had a fun weekend. We’re glad you guys could come over, even if you had to fight lots of nasty traffic. Hopefully you got Coal Creek figured out so that won’t happen again
.
that quote is awesome!!! so true!
I need to remember that about pics, i want to take more pics of the kids, but I need to just think, ENOJY IT! Don’t leave and get the camera…at least not ALL the time
