We arrived at our local Strawberry Festival in time to snap the photo above and then get hit with an astounding rain storm, BLAST! We waited under our umbrella to see if it would let up. 30 minutes later . . . . . . . no let up, a trembling dog and some extremely wet clothing we finally decided to packed it in. I slid the pup into my coat, this is something I have trained him to do since he was a pup. My Mr. calls this our Joey position, as the pup acts as my little roo. (sorry no photos of this, maybe next time) Sadly didn’t get to fully enjoy the festival, but getting caught in the deluge was an experience nonetheless. We hurried back to the car and on to the remainder of our day, which we stayed dry for!
